Enabling people to understand what it takes to take on professional certification courses is an important element of informing one’s education clients properly.
This is the role Rivotek Kenya Limited came in to do for Makini Schools during their open day.
The college, having launched its IT Academy, and offering professional courses, stand apart from other colleges in its field by offering world class certification.
The Microsoft IT Academy Program enables colleges to offer official Microsoft Courseware and certification for students.
This makes the college globally credible and makes the students global resources.
However, most students do not understand the benefits of this kind of certification, and thus a precious few of Kenya‘s population invest in this kind of education. Even worse, an even smaller number of organisations offering tertiary learning invest in affiliation with global education and certification providers.
Rivotek aids both the educators and learners by providing the business consultancy and training necessary to move organisations to the next level, and to inform individuals of the opportunities they stand to gain.
This event, held on the 14th of April, showcased benefits from disparate professional bodies like KASNEB, ACCA, ABE and Microsoft Learning.
Both educators and students got to interact in an off-centre and interactive environment and got informed!
